Meet The Pros

Robert Schwab, the Director of Golf, is responsible for all areas of the golf operation including the Pro Shop, golf instruction and conducting tournaments.
As a third generation PGA Golf Professional, Robert has over 20 years of experience in the golf industry. He was the head golf professional at Sugar Mill Country Club in New Smyrna Beach for over a decade where his responsibilities were broad-ranging. Robert has experience teaching golfers of all ages and skill levels. Currently he is active in promoting junior golf as a board member of the Volusia Flagier Junior Golf Association and Golf Coach for a newly formed Middle School Golf Team. Under his direction Hidden Lakes provides individual lessons as well as clinics for beginners, ladies and juniors.
Robert is a graduate of Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Science in finance and a minor in marketing. He played 4 years of collegiate golf for the Dolphins earning All-America Scholar honors his senior year.
A 20 year resident of New Smyrna Beach, Robert and his wife Jenni and their two children have put down roots in the community. Being the family friendly golf club, Hidden Lakes and Robert Schwab make a great team!

Sharon Gilmore has been an LPGA member since 1993. Her passion for the game started during her school years at Patchogue-Medford High School, in Long Island, N.Y. Sharon earned a golf scholarship to Longwood College in Farmville Virgina. During her college years she gained invaluable tournament experience and also became a dedicated student of " the golf swing."
After graduating in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, she moved to Florida. Before pursuing a career as a golf professional, she taught high school chemistry, worked as an assistant store manager for Marshall's Departments Store and built and operated her own restaurant. Eventually Sharon's love for the game of golf was so strong that she joined the LPGA and pursued a career as a golf professional. In 1995, she moved from Delray Beach Florida to take a teaching position at Hidden Lakes Golf Club. Sharon spent four years working under the supervision of well-known and respected PGA Professional Craig Shankland. In 1999, she relocated to Turnbull Bay Golf Club where she stayed for another 10 years. In August of 2011, Sharon "came back home" to Hidden Lakes Golf Club.

Cindy has an extensive background in coaching and competing in a variety of sports for over 30 years. As a player, she has enjoyed success at multiple levels of competition, including state ranking as a junior tennis player, bowler, and volleyball player.
Cindy has successfully coached boys and girls in varsity volleyball, tennis and golf for more than twenty years. She has earned "Five Star Coach of the Year" honors on numerous occasions. Cindy is a 21-year veteran teacher in the Volusia County School System. Prior to joining the LPGA T & CP Division in 2000, she was invited and competed in numerous prestigious amateur events including The Eastern, The Sally, Harder Hall, and the Trans National.
She is currently head girls` varsity golf coach at Atlantic High School. Under her direction, the team qualified for Regionals (the first time in school history) this past season with a third place finish at Districts. At Hidden Lakes Cindy conducts weekly junior golf clinics and course management sessions throughout the year. Her juniors look forward to special outings such as Mother-Daughter events, Putting Spooktacular, Back to School, Junior Golf Academies, etc.
Adult programs have included:Learn Golf In A Day, Golf Outings for Working Women, Learn and Play Clinics. Cindy is available for individual and group lessons as well as club fittings.
